How much does licensing cost?
Pattern licensing fees vary on a case by case basis, however generally start around $250CAD. Fees depend on design complexity, licensing term, usage requirements, etc.
Is licensing exclusive or non-exclusive?
Designs are licensed on a non-exclusive basis.
Who owns the copyright to the design?
Beeky Illustration and design retains all copyright and ownership of pattern designs.
Can colours be customized?
In some cases, design colours can be customized. Please reach out with the pattern you have in mind for more information.
What is the file format?
Standard file formats for licensing are .JPEG files at 300 DPI in sRGB. Photoshop (.psd) files are also available upon request. If you require an alternate file type, please let me know. Licensees are responsible for ensuring the file type is appropriate for their chosen printing company.
